Summer weather reminds me of my high school years in California. Clothes were kept casual, the sunroof was always open and there seemed to music playing where ever I went. My schedule went something like this: morning swim practice, lifeguard “work”, water polo practice, beach-side party complete with a bonfire and cheap beer. My summer uniform then, and now, consisted of not much more than a pair of shorts, usually cutoffs, and a t-shirt. Even summer dresses felt too dressy.
But, I’m grown up now. And, I don’t live in California– I reside in fancy New York. So, I’ve updated my look with light tailored blazers and Sex and the City-inspired heels. Since there are tons of sales going on right now (the one on Farfetch is particularly incredible if you want to search for designer clothing) I’ve been stocking up on some great designer pieces in hopes of keeping my younger-self look going as long as possible. Because really, what’s better than cutoffs and t-shirts?

The shoes are cute! When will Saks have a big sale?
I think their sale is going on now, along with Barney’s and Bergdorfs…
This is adorable, love the whole outfit
These are SO adorable, but I am still a size 6, and the short shorts make my tush look to big.
