There are many moments when I wonder why I bother having a blog. It takes a ridiculous amount of time, I’m not getting rich from it, and it’s kinda weird to take pictures of myself and put them on the internet for the whole world to see. But then, there are times like now. Where looking over this year’s entries I’m reminded of so many amazing memories, adventures and trips. Times that I had completely forgotten about until rereading my blog. So, here’s to a new year, being thankful for the last, and hoping for many more magical moments. Thank you for reading and always leaving such thoughtful and encouraging comments. Happy New Year!

I totally relate to what you’re saying here. On my side, I started 2 blogs in the last 7 years and left them because of the same reasons you’re talking about in the first place…maybe the third blog would stay for good!
Bonne année!

I share your sentiments – but then I love to write and my blog gives me a platform for my writing – so if I can’t stop even if I wanted to. Love your photos – keep going!

Ha ha this post makes me smile so wide
! I hear you girl but I think at the end of the day whether we’ll make a fortune (probably not lol) or get good press, blogging is another way to build our character, evolve and really figure out things for ourselves… At least that’s what I tell myself!
Anyhow I hope you keep on keeping! I love your culinary shots! Everything always looks so delicious… We should collaborate one day!
Happy New Year

Hi,
I live in Scotland and to be able to read about your life in New York and see your pics makes the world feel a little less big and scary. You are reaching more people than you even know – I read all the time and never comment but had to when I read this post.
Keep it up and Happy New Year xx
