I didn’t know how it was going to feel spending the weekend in hectic NYC after a slew of back-to-back trips. To integrate myself, I decided a calm night and cozy dinner would do the trick. I wore this ultra-preppy sweater and rocker inspired skirt Saturday night– an unusual combination that seemed to match my mood perfectly.

Last night, Leigh, of Girl Around Town, and I were seriously in the need for something sweet. We just couldn’t wait until after dinner. Before meeting Ali for a Ramadan feast we stopped by the nearest pastry shop. We indulged in fresh-baked cookies and ogled cakes and donuts galore. After our sugar stop we headed off to a dinner fit for a king (or queen) (or two).
