I seriously love sweets, but I hate the way they make me feel. Sugar makes my heart race, my stomach ache and then I always suffer from a pretty emotional crash about an hour post-binge. These peanut butter bars are made with simple ingredients like honey from my dad’s bee hives, all-natural peanut butter and organic eggs. The second best part? They take about three seconds to make.
Peanut butter and honey bars
1 16oz. jar natural peanut butter (the kind with peanuts listed as the only ingredient)
2 tsp. baking soda
1 cup honey
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all of the ingredients in a large bowl and mix with an electric hand mixer until blended. They should be a beautiful golden brown color when done, about 15-20 minutes.
Eat for breakfast, for dessert, or on a beach picnic…
