Winter workout

In high school, I spent every waking moment in the pool either swimming, playing waterpolo or life guarding. Once I graduated, and after one season of college waterpolo, I only worked out for superficial reasons. It wasn’t until a few years ago that I started to think about how exercise affects my mood. Especially during winter, when sunshine is hard to come by and it’s so easy to feel depressed. I’ve found that I’m a better person when I workout, calmer, nicer, less anxiety-y.

To keep myself motivated (I try to get to the gym, soul cycle, yoga, dance, or barre class everyday– snowing or not), I’m currently playing this song on repeat, working on perfecting these 15-minutes moves by Tracy Anderson, and obsessed with this new workout wear line.
