Workout snack

I happen to sit next to a male body builder (slash IT guy) at work. He’s constantly mixing protein shakes and eating bars. While personally I have no interest in prepackaged meals or bulking up, I do find myself too tired to workout after a long day in the office. My co-worker brought in these peanut butter “cookies” the other day and a) they are delicious and b) they were extremely effective in giving me enough energy to make it to the gym. They’re such a game changer when it comes to choosing between heading to my couch or heading to workout.

Protein Peanut butter balls

Ingredients:

1/3 cup natural peanut butter
1/4 cup honey
1 scoop chocolate whey protein powder
3 tablespoons ground flaxseed
3 tablespoons dark chocolate chips

Mix all of the ingredients together and roll into balls. Refrigerate overnight.

Enjoy an hour or two before SoulCycle.
