Le Labo: Beauty comes from chaos sometimes

candle

Le Labo is one of those stores that is just a little too intimidating for me. When I sought out the store in Paris, the sparse shelves and cold tiled walls (and moody-looking sales girl) made me reconsider my mission and I just kept on walking. Now, you can imagine how happy I was to receive the most intoxicating scented candle as a Christmas present, without having to set foot in their boutique. I went online to read about why the scent was so fantastically delicious and I feel in love with the description (see below) and was thrilled to find out that they have e-commerce.  Which is means that those of you who don’t live near a store can have your’s as well, and those of us who have perfume store-related social anxiety can order from the safety of our own homes.

“Laurier 62 is a mess…

We mean laurel, rosemary, eucalyptus, thyme, cumin, clove, amber, patchouli, sandalwood and 53 other ingredients…

Seriously, who uses 62 ingredients in a candle ?

Well, we do.

Beauty comes from chaos sometimes. It is a mess, a beautiful one.”

  1. La demoiselle a très bon goût. Je vous souhaite de très bonne fêtes, que celles-ci soient belles et douces. Happy Christmas.

  2. Le Labo… love it!
I wear a scent and it lasts all day. Here’s hoping the candle lingers too, need to add it to my collection.

    Happy New Year!
