A few weeks ago I was in L.A. for work. I had a free day in-between shoots and meetings and decided to explore parts of the city I’d never been to. I typically go to the same places over and over again so this was a fun adventure. We went to SilverLake to have breakfast at Sqirl, where we had the best almond milk latte of all time and an amazing piece of toast with nut butter and homemade jam. For dinner we went to Hinoki and the Bird in Century City, someplace I’d never thought of going for dinner. And then the next morning we got up early to check out Melrose Place and Alfred’s Coffee, which I’d heard so much about (if you go you must get the honey brownie). It was only about 24 hours, but it was great.
