Chocolate and date croissants

Tea time is such a sweet way to relax in the afternoon. A little snack and warm cup are the perfect accompaniment to a deep breath. I made these quick and easy croissants with a homemade date butter that was in my fridge, but you could substitute any type of jam. I think raspberry with white chocolate or pumpkin with butterscotch chips would be equally delicious.

Chocolate and date croissants


1 package Cresants rolls

1/2 jar of date butter

Chocolate chips

Preheat oven at 375 degrees. Spread dough with jam or fruit and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Roll in to mini croissants. Bake for 10-15 minutes.

Enjoy with green tea.
